Brake & Accelerator Pedal

We take pride in ensuring reliable and efficient supply chains to meet the specific needs of our valued customers across various sectors Our steel operations revolve around our six electric arc furnace (EAF) steel mills and numerous value-added coating operations, enabling us to handle roughly 13 million tons of steel shipping. We take pride in offering one of the most diversified portfolios of value-added products within the domestic steel industry.
Furthermore, we operate under a circular manufacturing model, which prioritizes the production of high-quality, lower-carbon-emission steel using EAF technology, where recycled ferrous scrap serves as the primary input. This approach establishes Fabrik as an EAF steelmaking and circular manufacturing industry leader. The tireless efforts of our innovative teams in implementing climate change initiatives will further elevate our standards for sustainable steel production in the future.
We manufacture high-performance plastic brake and accelerator pedals using advanced injection moulding technology. Our tooling and mould flow analysis ensure part integrity across critical zones such as pivot mounts, sensor interfaces, and ribbed reinforcements. Pedals can be produced with overmoulded inserts, metal bushings, or anti-slip surface textures depending on application requirements.
Whether for ICE or EV architectures, our pedals are developed to comply with platform-specific load curves, thermal profiles, and mounting geometries. We support both suspended and floor-mounted configurations and offer support for pedal arm integration, actuation response tuning, and packaging constraints. Material selection includes high-performance engineering plastics such as PA6-GF, PA66-GF, and long-glass-reinforced blends—ensuring mechanical durability under millions of actuation cycles in harsh operating environments.

Benefits &
technical features

  • Optimized for Load Transfer: Engineered to withstand static and dynamic pedal force loads across urban, highway, and off-road duty cycles.

  • High Modulus Thermoplastics: Produced using PA6-GF, PA66-GF, and long glass fibre-reinforced polymers to achieve high stiffness and fatigue resistance.

  • Dimensional Stability: Maintains tight tolerances and low deformation under thermal and mechanical stress, ensuring long-term calibration of pedal travel.
  • Overmoulding Capabilities: Supports integrated inserts, bushings, or return spring mounts to reduce part count and improve assembly accuracy.

  • Surface Customization: Textured, anti-slip finishes and sensor interface zones can be tailored to fit ergonomic and electronic feedback requirements.

  • Compliance-Ready: Components meet global automotive test standards for pedal effort, vibration, thermal ageing, and environmental cycling.

Applications & use cases

Plastic bellows and struts are used where flexibility, protection, or motion absorption is required — without the need for structural load or heavy formability.
